Beretta 502 (Sako A-V) .270 Win
The Beretta 500 series was built by Beretta in Italy on Sako actions specially made for Beretta. This was prior to Beretta purchasing the Sako company. These Sako A-series actions featured round-topped receivers with no dovetail and are marked as "Beretta" rather than Sako. However, each action is fully a Sako action with the same bolt, trigger, and Sako quality. The stock is European walnut, nicely hand checkered, with a slight schnable fore end. The 24.4" barrel is Beretta-made and of typically high quality. This barrel muzzle is threaded (1/2 x 28) to take the furnished muzzle brake (if desired). It also comes with an adapter to 5/8 x 24 to accept other standard muzzle accessories such as a sound suppressor. Rifle is furnished with bases and rings -- the rings are universal in that they accept a 30mm scope tube, but also come with aluminum bushings to adapt equally well to a standard 1" tube. Condition of wood, metal, and bore is at least 95% with only one tiny scratch near the muzzle and a handful of minor stock dings. Length over pad is 13.75". This slick hunter is broadly adaptable to any scope or accessory.
