Sako A-III Mannlicher .270 Win
The Sako A-III succeeded the original L61R but the only difference in the two was the shrouded bolt of the A-III. This nice Mannlicher model's walnut stock has an oil finish, giving it the classic look of old world rifles. It is original other than having had the Williams open and front sights removed for scope use. Replacement sights are available from the Williams Gun Sight company if desired. Condition is very nice with only a few dings showing on the wood (the most visible of which is on the bottom of the pistol grip (pictured). Metal is also nice with the entire gun going in the 95% range with an excellent looking bore. The recoil pad does show just a very small amount of compression at the heel, but is hardly noticeable and better than average. We can supply a variety of scope mounts for your Sako, including original ringmounts from Sako.
