Sako Vixen "pre-Garcia" .222 Magnum
The resurgent .222 Remington Magnum is getting a lot of attention from Sako enthusiasts, particularly now that Nosler is making factory ammunition and others are offering brass. This L461 Vixen sporter is in fantastic condition, plus its wood shows a subtle fiddleback throughout, making it very desirable. The overall rifle is in better than 95% condition including the bright blue of the early models and a near perfect wood finish with negligible marks. Bore is sharp as a tack. Made in 1963, this piece is eligible to transfer directly to C&R holders. The Bofors Steel marked barrel is 23.6" long, while the internal magazine holds six rounds down. There will never be any more of these, particularly in this near-mint condition.
