Sako L579 Model 72 .22-250
This is a really nice Sako .22-250 in the Model 72 variation from 1972-73. It features a stock finish that is slightly "orange" as opposed to the brown tone of the standard Sako sporters of the time, and has a 2-point checkering pattern on the grip which was unique to the Model 72. Unlike some Model 72 rifles this one has checkered instead of smooth dovetail tops. The rifle is in overall 95%+ condition and looks to be fired very little, with only a very few light marks on the wood. Bore and metal are very good to excellent. Barrel is 23-inches and the magazine holds 5 rounds down.
