Sako Model 75-V Stainless .300 Win Mag
Here is a rare one -- a weather-resistant all-stainless rifle with a genuine Walnut stock. This Model 75 Sako is chambered in the very popular and powerful .300 Winchester Magnum, making it a great candidate for that swampy moose hunt, or a hunt for any big game found in damp, snowy, or othewise difficult conditions which can be devastating to a blued rifle's finish. Yet it still features the warmth of a wood stock with real checkering rather than the cold, plastic feel of a synthetic stock. The metal is nearly perfect on this example. The wood has no chips or splits, but shows several dings and light marks as seen in the photos. Call the metal 98% and the wood 90%. The rather stiff, solid rubber factory pad has been replaced with a softer one for better recoil absorbtion, but the uncut stock's length of poll is still the factory length. The action features three forward locking lugs for a fast, smooth 60-degree bolt lift. A detachable stainless magazine holds four rounds down, while the barrel is 24.4 inches long. We can supply stainless mounts and a stainless finished used Leupold scope in excellent condition to top off your all-weather Sako.
