Sako A-V Classic 7mm Mag Unfired in Box!
Here is a true prize. This unfired Sako from 1983 is now 35 years old but is just as it came out of the factory. It also has the highly desirable full wrap around checkering on the fore arm which is usually found only on the earlier A-III. The Sako Classic Grade was built at the insistence of rifle traditionalists who wanted the clean lines of the non-Monte Carlo stock and a traditional rounded fore end with sharp, borderless checkering. They were the only Sakos made with genuine American Walnut stocks and this one shows very nice understated figure in the oil-finished wood. There is a wooden grip cap that just barely contrasts with the wood of the stock. The box is original to the rifle and we can find no evidence that the rifle has ever been fired -- or even that the bolt has been put in it. An opportunity to own a brand new Classic Sako rarely comes along. We don't think you'll be disappointed in this one.
