Tiny spot of stock rash
Sako S491 .22 PPC Target/Varmint
Here is a barely-used Sako in a very scarce caliber and configuration. This single-shot heavy barrel has a reputation of being one of the most accurate ever made by Sako. Its prior owner claimed a low round count of 60 rounds, and judging from the pristine appearance of the bore that claim appears credible. The metal is essentially perfect, and the oil finished beavertail stock is excellent with the exception of a small spot of rash on the LH side where the beavertail fore end starts. There is not much more to say about this virtually new Sako except that it deserves a good scope, a steady rest, and some paper or scurrying prairie dogs to shoot it at.
