Anschutz Model 1574 .243 Win

We rarely use the term "rare" when talking about a rifle, but this one is truly unique.  It is the only rifle larger than a .222 which we've ever seen with the famous Anschutz brand.  Upon close examination it is clearly a German Krico action which was either made for Anschutz by Krico or licensed by Krico for Anschutz to manufacture.  Both are German manufacturers known for quality and accuracy.  The stock has the trademark Anschutz features of rollover cheekpiece, skipline checkering, and schnable fore end.  The rifle is in very good condition of both wood and blue, except for the bluing on the detachable magazine which shows rub wear.  The bore is excellent.  It appears that the magazine is a replacement in that it while it feeds perfectly it inserts and removes with some difficulty.  The straight stack magazine holds 3 rounds.  The rear sight and the front sight blade have been removed, presumably to better use a scope sight since bases are attached.  If the magazine were original and sights present we would be asking much more for this very rare Anschutz.  We doubt ever seeing another one.
